Covid-19 Update and Information

All Watches Company is fully operational and not experiencing any delays in processing incoming watches or delivering orders to customers.

When your business is based on buying and selling watches, you always have a strong sense of time. That being said, we don’t think any of us thought we would see a time such as this.  We have heard from many of you through calls, chats and emails asking about how the coronavirus is impacting All Watches Company.  So, here’s a quick update.

First, we hope that you, your family, and your friends have remained healthy and continue to do so during this time. We know that this situation is likely impacting many of you both personally and professionally. Please know that we are thinking about you and everyone affected globally as we navigate this together.

Currently, All Watches Company is fully operational and not experiencing any delays in processing incoming watches or delivering orders to customers. Last week, we implemented a work from home policy for a significant number of our team members. This includes our Client Services team who remains fully staffed to support you via phone, chat, email, and social media.

A small portion of our team is working on-site in order to continue receiving, processing, and shipping watches. Out of an abundance of concern and caution for those team members, we are taking additional precautions to ensure our secure facility is a safe and clean environment. This also allows us to safeguard all timepieces arriving to and leaving from our facility.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidance from local and federal health officials. We will also keep you updated with any changes to our operations. For now, know we are open for business and are working to maintain the great content and level of customer service that you have come to expect from us.

Do I have to pay taxes on my watch?

We are required to follow each individual state’s laws.

Due to a 2018 U.S. Supreme Court Ruling (South Dakota v. Wayfair), sales tax collection laws have changed. Previously, we were only required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in our home state of Georgia. Based on this new ruling, each state can establish its own sales tax collection laws for online sales from companies based outside of the state. We are required to follow each individual state’s laws. This means that we may now be collecting sales tax on orders shipped to states that we did not collect from in the past. You can look at the State Tax breakdown, but you still may be taxed by the county or city that you are located in.

How do you determine your prices/valuations?

We base our offers and list prices on the current pre-owned watch market relying on supply and demand.

The short answer is we base our offers and list prices on the current pre-owned watch market relying on supply and demand. We’ve spent the last several years gathering data from across the industry using offline and online resources to arrive at our watch values. Because there is not a “Kelly Blue Book” for watches, we have also built systems that help us to monitor the pre-owned watch market to ensure that our prices are always market-based. We cross-reference current market happenings with our own sales data of tens of thousands of transactions ensuring that we have a real-time pulse on the secondhand watch market. Doing this allows us to determine the fairest price for any watch at any time. In short, we use data not our gut feeling.

How can I contact you?

Please visit our Contact Us page to choose the method that works best for you. Our office hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm ET Monday through Friday, and we do our very best to return after-hours and weekend messages as soon as possible the next business day.

Do you sell any of my personal information?

Absolutely not.

Absolutely not. Our clients and your privacy are extremely important to us, and we are committed protecting your privacy. If you still have concerns, please review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy to see the details.

Do you sell extra bracelet links or other watch parts?

While we do sell several watch accessories, we do not carry watch parts or extra links as part of our inventory available for purchase. Because we sell all our timepieces as is, we highly recommend double checking the listing details and watch specifications as all the wrist and case sizes are listed with each watch.

If you are still interested in a timepiece and need additional parts or links, we would be happy to find an Authorized Retailer near you to source them.

Prior to purchase, we recommend that you use our Watch Sizing Guide to ensure that you are choosing the correct wrist size (i.e. bracelet size) and case size. All of the wrist and case sizes are listed with each watch.

Where do your watches come from?

We purchase the majority of our watches from individuals either directly through our website or as a part of our retail trade-in partnerships at some of top retailers across the United States and Canada. You can learn more about our retail partners here (https://www.allwatchescompany.com/pages/retail-trade-in-program). From time to time, we may purchase watches from a very select, highly-vetted wholesale partner. We own all of the watches on the site. They are all pre-owned, and we do not list or sell gray market watches.

How much is my watch worth?

We base all of our valuations on current and historical sales and market data. To do this accurately it takes a lot of information like brand, model, condition, etc. of the watch into account. For this reason, we don’t provide an off-the-cuff ballpark range over the phone, chat or email. If you would like to get an accurate quote for your watch, just fill out our quote form, and our valuation team will get back with you shortly.

What is the strike-through price on your watches?

This is the original listing price of that particular watch on our site.

Sometimes, a watch will have a strike-through price next to our selling price, and is sometimes accompanied by “was.” This is the original listing price of that particular watch on our site. We may mark down our price(s) from time to time based on market conditions and other factors. Sometimes these price markdowns are temporary, and sometimes they are permanent. The strike-through price is there to provide a point of reference to your savings if you were to purchase the watch at the current price.

Nothing can replace your own comparison shopping. If this is an important factor for you in your purchasing decision, then we recommend you conduct your own individual search as well.

How do I know the watch I buy from your site is real?

Are your items authentic?

All Watches Company certifies that every timepiece we sell is 100% real. We don’t accept any items that are knock-offs or that contain parts unacceptable to Swiss standards. This would include timepieces with aftermarket diamonds. We have full-time watchmakers on staff with more than 20 years of experience in authenticating and servicing luxury watches. All Watches Company verifies the authenticity of each and every item through a multi-point process, and if any items do not fit our rigorous quality standards, we don’t accept them.

As a note, in the pre-owned watch market, it is common to use aftermarket crystals when repairing a timepiece. We try to avoid changing crystals in all cases. However, in select cases when a new crystal is required, our Swiss-trained watchmakers will replace it with a Swiss-approved crystal matching the original specification of the watch model.
